This is unheard of in mid-June in the archipelago as elsewhere, since the flu virus usually disappears in early March. But Covid-19 has completely shifted this seasonal epidemic. Thanks to confinements, social distances and the wearing of masks, this virus hardly circulated for three years. Result: today, most Japanese are no longer immune to this disease which is spreading like wildfire.
