FIFA 23: Shapeshifters launches today with insane maps

In FIFA 23, the Shapeshifters event starts today in Ultimate Team. Here you can get all the information about the new promo and leaks about the new cards.

When does Shapeshifters start? The new Shapeshifters event starts today, June 16 at 7:00 p.m. From this time on, the new cards can then be found in the FUT 23 packs.

However, it is not yet known how long the event will last. Last year, Shapeshifters ran for four weeks, bringing four teams into play with new maps.

What is Shapeshifters? The Shapeshifters event in is known for releasing maps with some completely insane positions. For example, forwards can get defender cards. Or players who normally charge on wings can land in the center. A lot is possible at Shapeshifters.

Last year, for example, there was an extremely strong striker card for left-back Marcelo. Or even a central defender card for Mario Gomez.

How do you get Shapeshifters cards? Most of the cards will end up in FIFA 23’s packs, but you’ll need a lot of luck there to pull one of the cards. In addition, there will probably also be event players in the tasks and SBCs.

FIFA 23 Shapeshifters – First leaks of the new maps

If you look at the Twitter account of the notorious FUT leaker FUT Sheriff, you can already discover the first leaked players who could supposedly appear in the final Shapeshifters team.

There will be new cards for:

  • Upamecano (Bayern)
  • Eden Hazard (Real Madrid)

    • The leak does not reveal which new positions the players could get. Maybe we’ll get a big, beefy striker in Upamecano? We remain curious.

    However, keep in mind that these are leaks and this information is not confirmed and in the end completely different cards could end up in the game.

    Weekend League will be changed to Shapeshifters

    This is what happens in the Weekend League: During the TOTS event there were new seasons for the Weekend League, it ran noticeably longer. Now it’s back to the old days.

  • The Weekend League starts on Fridays at 10:00 a.m
  • And it ends on Mondays at 10:00 a.m

    • In addition, the rewards of the Weekend League will be adjusted. How exactly is not known at the moment.
