League of Nations: time, TV channel … The Final Four program

League of Nations time TV channel … The Final Four

The Nations League Final Four takes place this week with two big shocks.

While most teams will play qualifying matches for Euro 2024 which is being played in Germany in a year (France face Gibraltar and Greece), the Final Four of the Nations League is played this Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June. The first poster will oppose the Netherlands to Croatia. The Dutch, beaten sharply by the France team a few months ago, are not in their best period after a rather successful World Cup. Opposite, Croatia, is very often present in the big meetings in recent years and leaves with a status of favorite. The meeting will be to follow on June 14 from 8:45 p.m. on the L’Equipe channel.

The other poster is a real classic between Italy and Spain. Absent from the World Cup 2022, Italy wants to bring a title home, two years after that of the Euro, even if Roberto Mancini is satisfied with the course. “I am happy to have the opportunity to face three great teams, in this case the first semi-final with Italy, which I obviously consider a great opponent. We are very attached to it and we are very happy because we will be able to compete. We are on an equal footing with all the best national teams in the world and we are very eager to participate in this competition. The match will be watched on Thursday June 15 at 8:45 p.m. on the L’Equipe channel.

What is the 2022-2023 Nations League schedule?

The 2022-2023 Nations League calendar is divided into several days from June 2, 2022 to June 18, 2023, the date of the final of the competition. Check out the matches for the next day below.

Here is the full 2022-2023 Nations League schedule:

  • Semi-finals: June 14 and 15, 2023;
  • Final and match for third place: June 18, 2023

The Football Nations League is organized into four leagues. The four winners of the groups of League A are qualified for the Final Four (semi-finals + final), the winners of the groups of Leagues B, C and D will be promoted to the higher leagues and the last of the leagues A and B will be relegated in the lower leagues.

It should also be remembered that, as in the first two editions of the competition, won by Portugal and France, the challenge of this League of Nations is twofold: beyond the trophy awarded to the final winner (necessarily from the League A), two possible qualifying places for the 2022 World Cup are granted since the two best winners of Nations League groups (in all leagues) who are not directly qualified via the classic qualifiers (which remain in force), may participate in play-offs.
