The first robot struck just before three o’clock tonight, and another one struck soon after. Ljudmila, who lives in the area, was awakened by the loud explosions.
– I am in shock, she tells SVT’s Ukraine correspondent Elin Jönsson on the spot in Kryvyi Rih.
During the day, the victims received help with plastic and other building materials to seal doors and windows that were knocked out by the explosions. The robots are believed to have been fired from long-range Russian strategic bombers.
– The Russians are terrorists. They engage in terror when they attack civilian objects, says the city’s mayor, Olaksandr Vilkul.
But the Russians write that they shot at a military warehouse?
– Do you see any military warehouse here? The only warehouse where we are still looking for five people was a warehouse for soft drinks.
