A man in his 30s has been shot in a residential area in Trelleborg.
The police have launched a major operation – and are currently hunting one or more perpetrators.

During Tuesday afternoon, the police received several calls about a shooting in a residential area in Trelleborg. Police and ambulance went to the scene and found a man in his 30s who had been hit by gunshots.
The man has been taken to hospital by ambulance, but the police have no information on the extent of his injuries.
– The injured person has been taken care of and handed over to paramedics. He has been taken to hospital, says Rickard Lundqvist.
Interviewing witnesses
The police are in the area and have cordoned off a suspected crime scene. The police are currently hunting one or more perpetrators who are suspected of the crime.
– We don’t know if it’s one or more people, says police spokesperson Rickard Lundqvist.
Several investigative measures have been initiated.
– We work on several different fronts. We have cordoned off an area and will carry out a crime scene investigation in order not to miss anything. We interrogate witnesses who may have seen or heard something, says Rickard Lundqvist.
