A city landmark, this suspension bridge has spanned the bay since 1937 to connect San Francisco to the pretty coastal town of Sausalito. With its famous “international orange” and its two pylons, it is considered one of the seven wonders of the modern world. 2,737 m long, it has six traffic lanes for cars and two alleys for pedestrians and bicycles on each side. Unavoidable !
