“I told him to…”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has ended his career.
Now Dejan Kulusevski reveals his emotional message.
– I wrote to him directly, says the star.

It was after Milan’s last match of the season that Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped out onto the San Siro pitch. Many had expected him to say goodbye to Milan’s supporters. But immediately he stepped out instead and said goodbye – to football.

Nice tribute

Zlatan then announced that he had played his absolute last football match and since then the tributes from the world’s best players, and the world’s biggest clubs, have poured in. Ibrahimovic will go down in history as one of the best strikers of all time, and it has been noticeable in the reactions, to say the least. Not least from Swedish players. Dejan Kulusevski has always had Zlatan as his big idol, and when the news came he was surprised.

Despite the fact that Zlatan is 41 years old, Kulusevski did not expect that Ibrahimovic would end his career now.

– You are always surprised with Zlatan, you didn’t know how long he would last. But when it (the message) came, it was just straight to Youtube, check Zlatan’s best goal of all time and just enjoy it one last time, he tells TT.

Reveals the message

Dejan Kulusevski wrote a nice message on Instagram immediately when the news came, when he posted a picture from their time in the national team. Now he also reveals what he wrote in his private message.

– I didn’t think he would stop. But I wrote him right after and told him to just enjoy now, have fun now, what you’ve done no one else has done. Just enjoy now and do exactly what you want in life, says “Kulu”.

Dejan Kulusevski is also asked if he thinks there will be a Swedish player as big as Ibrahimovic again.

– All people are different, there will never be another like Zlatan. But there will be new footballers who will be great and who will do great things. Fantastic players and people will emerge, says Kulusevski.
