The third season of The Witcher will be released in two parts on June 29 and July 27, 2023 on Netflix. For fans, the new episodes will be a bittersweet experience. As Redanian Intelligence reports, the second Witcher film after The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is to be titled The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. According to The Witcher news portal, its main character is said to be the bard Essi Daven, who comes from Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Small Sacrifice and is to be voiced by actress Christina Wren.

A new adventure for Geralt and Dandelion?
In the story not previously adapted in the Netflix series, both play Geralt von Riva as well as Delphinium play a major role. So we can assume that both characters will also appear in the film. Should both of her live-action actors (vocally) return for the film, fans can look forward to one final performance from Henry Cavill.
According to an Instagram post by Essi Daven spokeswoman Christina Wren, they found Dialogue recordings for the film in summer 2022 took place – and thus before the announcement of Henry Cavill’s departure. Whether he will actually be heard as Geralt has not yet been officially announced.
