Clarence Engström and his girlfriend were sitting on a park bench enjoying the sun in Farsta Centrum when they suddenly heard four, five bangs and saw people running by.
– I grabbed my girlfriend and we ran and took cover. I didn’t have time to reflect on what happened, he says.
The shooting happened only a hundred meters away.
– We did not see the incident itself, we only heard the explosions. You get scared and shocked when something like this can happen, he says.
Another witness says he was outside a kiosk with his brother when they heard the shots.
– They came as if out of nowhere, we ran into the kiosk while the shots continued. Inside there were several people crying and screaming, he says.
