Leerdam already had the 3-0 lead before the break. The hits were made by Fabian van Horssen, Sil van Putten and Jamal Ouassif. After the break, Martijn Timmer did something in return on behalf of Dronten by making it 3-1. The little hope that Dronten got was then shot to pieces by Bart Barendrecht who determined the final score at 5-1 with two hits.
