After last year’s season, Nilla Fisher made the decision to put her shoes on the shelf. Now she shares the ups and downs of her football career in the autobiography “I didn’t say even half”.
– I am a person who has said quite a lot, or thought and thought things, but there was more where I felt I should speak out in certain situations – and that is what I share in the book, she says to the Football Channel.
The end of the long and successful career contributed to Nilla Fisher suddenly being able to take on new challenges in life. One of the first was to convey his experiences from football, and life in general, in the new book.
– At first I thought it was a fun project, then I think it’s interesting to share my thoughts and feelings during the course of my career and also the course of my life, she says to Fotbollskanalen.
Not just flashes of light
But even though she looks back on her career with warmth, it is not only the bright moments that are covered in the book, she also highlights what the relationship with the coach looked like and what it was like to come out as gay.
– Some parts are just about myself and my life, and sometimes it has to do with coaches or other situations during the Football Gala or with the association where I could perhaps have been more, in my opinion, loud or spoke up, she says.
