The activists had come to Utrecht by bicycle from places such as Amersfoort, Zeist, De Bilt, Bunnik and Driebergen. They carried signs with texts like ‘no plane, take the train‘ and ‘whose is the sky?’. A spokesperson said that 40,000 signatures against the plan for the fourth approach route have now been collected. “We will present it together with a petition in The Hague on June 27, on which day the aviation committee will meet there.”
