European-based price tags for Peugeot 2008, which had its share of the renewed face of the brand, began to be shared through official channels.
One of the most important shareholders in today’s success of Peugeot, 2008 wants to raise its high sales chart in Europe even higher with its facelift version. In the new product range, which was introduced in the past May, important developments in terms of numbers as well as design attracted attention. Europe-based prices for the new Peugeot 2008, which gradually began to take shape in the sales process, began to appear. In this context, the UK-based price tags, which are on our radar, were announced as £24,020 for the base version Active. The figure is given as £36,350 for the all-electric e-2008.
The changes that come with the new Peugeot 2008
The daytime running lights in the form of a “lion’s tooth”, which were in the form of a single line before the make-up, will now appear in three parts. The new brand logo for 2008, which will bring a wider character from the front section with minor revisions on the bumpers, will also be added to the product range with the make-up. In addition to the new body colors, the wheel set that brings the 408 to mind also makes this update more remarkable. Let’s not go without mentioning that the dimensions here will vary between 16 and 18 inches. At the back of the facelift 2008, the change in the stop group can be easily distinguished.
Allure and GT versions of 2008, which did not undergo a serious change in cockpit design dynamics, will feature a new 10-inch driver screen. At the Active level, analog indicators will still be used. On the multimedia screen side, the fact that the 10-inch panel is now standard in all versions will perhaps be one of the most important changes. Peugeot’s update of the rear view camera with a high-resolution hardware is among the things we should highlight in this section. As a matter of fact, in 2008, 360 views will be on the lists with new equipment.
With the make-up package, a richer USB-C output awaits us. In Allure and GT versions, there are three USB-C outputs in total, two at the front and one at the back. There will also be an old-style USB in the back. Announcing that it will go for a new gear knob design for the manual transmission version, Peugeot also brings the “Grip Control” system to the console with the make-up. Users will have access to three different driving modes in this panel: Sand, Mud and Snow.

We can say that certain fundamentals are preserved under the hood of the 2008 family with make-up. In parallel, we will continue to see 1.2-liter gasoline and 1.5-liter diesel engines in the lists. The engine, which comes with 100 horsepower and 6-speed manual transmission at the entry level, continues with 130 horsepower in combination with EAT8 automatic transmission. The 1.5-liter diesel engine will also have the same power and transmission combination. The biggest innovation here will be the small hybrid system with 48V architecture coming to the PureTech engine. In the hybrid version, which will be combined with a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox, 136 horsepower and electric driving experience will make a difference. This engine will be introduced gradually in the first quarter of 2024.
