An apartment in Malmö was shelled during the night towards Wednesday. It was around 02:00 that the police were alerted that shots had been heard in the area.
The police were able to establish that a shooting took place, but no one was injured.
-Thankfully no one was hit, and the residents were very confused about the incident or why someone would want to hurt them, says Jerker Olsson, officer on duty at police region South, to TT.
The police are classifying the incident as attempted murder. No one is arrested.
