So the football career is finally over for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He managed to turn 41 years old and completed 24 years as a senior player when everything started in Malmö in 1999.
Zlatan’s career
There were an incredible 988 matches and 573 goals for “Ibra”, who conquered all the countries he entered and can sum up an unparalleled 32 titles during his successful career. Zlatan represented a total of nine different clubs during the long journey as a professional footballer and achieved success with all teams.

At national team level, Ibrahimovic has also been incredibly successful over the years. Admittedly, there was never a title with Sweden, but Zlatan has scored goals in the blue and yellow suit and is the Swedish national team’s top scorer of all time on the men’s side.

We must take advantage of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and utilize his unparalleled career as a world player.
– We in Swedish football must take care of and use a player and person like Zlatan. His experience and his qualities, then whether there is something concrete about the A national team or in some other way, I don’t know. But we have to talk about it and those who steer the ship, says Janne in an interview with Radiosporten.

“Very strange”
He is not so sure what role it is.
– Well, but I don’t think he was much of an office person. But he must want that himself and he has to think about that for a while about what he wants to do, Janne admits to the radio channel.
Janne Andersson is absolutely sure that Swedish football must offer Zlatan some kind of role after his playing career, that is something that is certain.
– That we wouldn’t try to find a role where we can really take advantage of his enormous experience, it would be very strange if we didn’t, says the national team captain in the interview.
