As is already known, World of Warcraft has been withdrawn from the Chinese market due to differences between NetEase and Blizzard. Tencent, one of the major publishers in China, has made it its task to close the resulting vacuum with its own MMORPG Tarisland. Tencent has now published a story teaser on this.
What does the story teaser show? The story teaser is the Tarisland Worldview Trailer. Moving pictures are shown, which classify the story of the MMORPG by means of a narrator and provide us with the first bits of the story.
A gloomy world is thus prophesied, complete with fire and brimstone raining down from the sky. In addition, entire planets are shown being devoured by a universal force. This is garnished by a narrator, albeit perhaps overly motivated, who propagates a less than hopeful future to the world. Finally, the trailer promises a closed beta test.

What kind of game is this? Tarisland is an MMORPG developed by Tencent, a Chinese game developer. It should be released globally this year and be an answer to the now missing WoW in China. According to a press release (via mmorpg.com), the developer describes his game as a giant sandbox MMORPG.
In detail, Tencent (via tarisglobal.com) promises the following features for release:
