Three people have been arrested after an explosion in the district of Bäckeby in Västerås.
The police were alerted at 01:30 of a loud bang in the area and soon after three people were arrested who are now suspected of causing public destruction, the police state on their website.
Several patrols are working in the area with, among other things, dog patrol and drones, and several locations are cordoned off for technical investigation.
The National Bomb Squad is expected to arrive at the scene during the night.
