When the candidates get equal votes In Spain 5 mayors

Equal votes were given to candidates in 5 of the 8,131 settlements where local elections were held in Spain.

THEY APPLIED TO A COIN TONS TO DETERMINATE THE MAYORS

Since the mayor must be determined by lot in case of equality according to the election laws in the country, a coin toss was applied to determine the mayors in these places with populations between 550 and 2,000.

Winners of the coin toss held in public at the municipal buildings will serve for 4 years until the next elections.

Due to the great success of the opposition right-wing parties in the local elections, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that the Spaniards would go to the polls on July 23, by delaying the general elections that would normally be held at the end of the year. (AA)
