There will be a flight ban for drones and flights at the Sweden Rock Festival next week, the police announce on their website.

The Swedish Transport Agency has approved the police’s application for a flight ban to “ensure order and safety for visitors” and to ensure the police’s ability to “monitor the event with their own drones and helicopters”, the police write.

The ban applies from June 7–12 in Norje, the small town outside Sölvesborg in Blekinge where the festival takes place.

Violation of the ban can be punished with a fine.
