You can change the difficulty / change the world level in Diablo 4 at any time. But you have to go to a certain point on the map – we show you here on MeinMMO.
How to change world level in Diablo 4? World level equals difficulty and can be adjusted in the first major city, Kyovashad. Previously, this is only possible with character creation.
Go to the statue and interact with the part:
Which world tier should I choose? Play at World Tier 1 to start. World Tier 2 isn’t worth it, although it gives more gold and experience points. But it can sometimes make sense to choose world tier 2.

The level phase differs significantly in terms of play, depending on your class. Some classes, like the Necromancer, are extremely strong to start with, while the Barbarian struggles a bit.
Later in the game, however, the rules change and the other classes overtake the pale skeleton controller. Shortly after the release, hunters and druids are at the top of our tier list.
