Qualcomm has confirmed the announcement date of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which will offer its users an amazing experience and performance. The company will introduce its new flagship processor on October 24.
According to tradition, Qualcomm will hold a Snapdragon summit in Hawaii, but this time about a month earlier than last year. As far as we know, the chip will have a new 1+5+2 architecture instead of the 1+2+2+3 used in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Gen 2 series.
The SoC is said to run on 5x Cortex-A720 cores and 2x Cortex-A520 cores and 1x Cortex-X4 main core paired with an Adreno 750 GPU, promising a significant boost in performance. The CPU package will also update the L3 cache from 8MB to 10MB.
According to the reports, Xiaomi 14 claims that its series will be the first to use Qualcomm’s new flagship chip in November. We expect more details to be revealed in the coming months.
