Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is an animated film directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin Thompson, by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. This is the long-awaited sequel to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Versethe second opus of the animated adventures of Miles Morales in the cinema released on May 31, 2023. Its second part, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse must be released at the cinema in France April 3, 2024, if there is no delay in production. In an interview with Collider, Christopher Miller explained the reasons for this split into two parts: “We realized, later than we should have, that we were trying to compress two films into one. It was by listening to the film that we we said ‘But this is the second part of a trilogy’, so we made this choice, and I think it was the best decision to make, because without it, we would not have been able to deepen the part emotional story.” We must therefore arm ourselves with a little more patience to discover the rest of the adventures of Miles Morales on the big screen.
