Joe Biden has fallen – again.
After a speech in Colorado, his legs gave way when he was about to step off the stage.
Several people were quickly there and helped the president to his feet.
On Thursday, US President Joe Biden gave a speech at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado. Among other things, he promised that Sweden will become a member of NATO shortly.
But when the American president was about to step off the stage, his legs gave way. Pictures and videos from Colorado show Joe Biden, wearing a blue cap, tripping and falling to the ground.
The video shows how several people quickly get to the American president and help him back to his feet.
Ben LaBolt, press officer for the White House, writes on Twitter that the president tripped on a sandbag.
“He feels good. There was a sandbag on stage when he shook hands,” he writes.
It’s not the first time Joe Biden has stumbled at official events. The president has previously been caught on film tripping on a flight of stairs.
The 80-year-old also wheeled his bike in front of reporters in Delaware last year.
