One of the most interesting current ideas aims to test the limits of the GPT-4 Large Language Model (LLM), the AI behind ChatGPT, by making it autonomous. Currently, the chatbot works by giving it a request, to which it provides an answer. With projects like AutoGPT or BabyAGI, it is given a goal, and the AI then has to break it down into different tasks to accomplish in order to achieve its goal. It can even launch multiple instances of itself as standalone agents. It is an extremely powerful tool, which will completely automate many complex tasks.
