Right next to the garage, which is now completely destroyed, there is a residential building.
– It was burning with open flames when we arrived at the scene, and the garage building cannot be saved. We are now focusing on trying to stop the further spread of the fire, says Anders Lögdal, the duty officer of the rescue service, to SVT.
According to the emergency services, the fire must have started in a caravan and then spread to the garage. Several vehicles standing outside the garage also caught fire during the fire, which led to heavy smoke.
The cause of the fire outbreak is not yet known.
