The success of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom boosts sales

It’s probably something we didn’t see coming, but that Nintendo may have anticipated internally: the record sales of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom have a direct consequence on those of Breath of the Wild. Indeed, for Week 20 of the charts in France, we can indeed see a strong comeback of one of the masterpieces of 2017, the one that renewed the open world. Zelda Breath of the Wild is thus placed in fifth position in the Top 5, ahead of the collector’s edition of Tears of the Kingdom, itself overtaken by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which makes a nice comeback compared to last week. The PS4 version of Hogwarts Legacy is no exception and proves that there are still many people who have not yet switched to the next gen. Obviously, the Top 1 is occupied by Zelda Tears of the Kingdom in its standard edition.

On PC, on the other hand, we note a nice surprise with the return of A Way Out, yet released in 2018, but whose return to the Top 3 is probably explained with a promo or a drop in price of the game. For the first instead, it’s Microsoft Flight Simulator Premium Deluxe Edition, hot on the heels of Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
