After seven years a library is opening again in Linschoten

“You couldn’t just walk in to read the newspaper or ask a question. It is fantastic that it is now possible again,” says Linda van Zwieten of the Het Groene Hart library. In 2015, both the libraries in Linschoten and Montfoort closed due to cutbacks by the municipality. In Linschoten, a library remained in a primary school, where non- students could only collect and collect books. Walking past the bookcases was not an option, and there was little room for other activities. “What we could organize there was minimal.”
