    A hot air balloon has crashed in a garden in Staffanstorp.

    20 people are said to have been on board.

    Several people have called the police that they heard gunfire in Hagalund in Solna in Stockholm.

  • Big search effort for missing boy

    A 15-year-old boy has been reported missing after he participated in an outdoor day with his school class in Kilsbergen in Örebro.

    It was around 3 p.m. that a teacher discovered that the boy had deviated from the group.

    The boy is about 180 centimeters tall and has short dark hair. At the time of his disappearance, he is said to have been wearing white shorts and a light-colored shirt.

    Several police patrols are in the area and searching.

  • Man fell from bridge – rescue operation underway

    At 10 o’clock a bridge repairman fell into the water at Bergsviksbron in Piteå. Despite rescue efforts, the man, who is in his 50s, has not been found during the day.

    The police are investigating the incident as a workplace accident and are searching for the man with, among other things, a police helicopter.

    Relatives have been informed of the circumstances.

  • Bomb threat on airplane – perpetrator arrested

    An SAS aircraft en route from Arlanda in Sweden to Vaasa in Finland has been stopped due to a bomb threat on board the plane.

    – The police were contacted by a flight captain after a passenger said he had some dangerous object. He has been identified and it has been established that he had no dangerous object, says police spokesperson Towe Hägg to Aftonbladet.

    The man is suspected of illegal threats against a group.

    According to Vasabladet the police say that it was all a “joke”, but that the passengers had to get off the plane for safety’s sake.
