The Vegas Golden Knights beat the Dallas Stars no less than 6–0 and advanced to the NHL finals for the second time in their club history. Vegas won the Western Conference final series with a 4–2 match win.
Vegas scored three goals in the opening set of the sixth game in the away bowl. William Carrier started the scoring, William Karlsson resumed midway through the set and Keegan Kolesar struck a third hit moments later.
In the second round Jonathan Marchessault hit the readings to 4–0 already. At the beginning of the third period, Karlsson scored his second goal of the evening to make it 5–0.
Mike Amadio finished the final readings after the middle of the final set. Vegas will face Florida in the finals.
The season of Dallas and the club’s five Finnish players ended in a rude defeat.
