Bayern Munich celebrates the German Bundesliga football championship for the 11th time in a row. Leverkusen, represented by Finnish goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky, grabbed the Conference League qualifying spot.
Bayern Munich is celebrating the German Bundesliga championship. The club won the “salad bowl” handed to the champion 11 times in a row on Saturday.
Before the final round, Bayern was two points behind Dortmund, who were at the top of the league. After the opening period, the championship seemed to go to Munich again, with Bayern leading Cologne 1–0 and Dortmund losing 0–2 against Mainz.
Mainz took a 1–0 lead as a guest of Dortmund. The home team received a penalty kick in the 18th minute of the game, which they set up to shoot Sebastien Haller. Haller, who finished with five goals in the previous three matches, kicked a soft drive that the Mainz goalkeeper Finn Dahmen easily repelled. A few minutes later, Mainz scored a 2–0 goal and the match went into the break with Manz in charge.
However, the championship still seemed to turn in Dormund’s favor. In the 81st minute of the game, Köln scored a 1-1 equalizer in Bayern’s net from a penalty kick. However, the tie only lasted eight minutes, when Bayern Jamal Musiala finished the final score 2–1 with his accurate shot.
After the victory, the Bayern players gathered on the pitch to watch the final moments of the Dortmund-Mainz match on their phones. In the sixth minute of extra time, Dortmund scored a 2-2 equalizer, after which the referee blew the final whistle. The Dortmund players shortened the surface of the field when the Bavarians broke into a liberating run.

Coman has won the national championship 11 times, including eight in Germany, two in France and one in Italy. In addition, he has won the Champions League in the 2019–20 season.
