The owners of Chary Produce got some good news Thursday evening.
The tractor that was reported stolen on Thursday morning was recovered.
“We have some great news,” the family-owned farm reported. “We have recovered our tractor. Our attachment is still missing.
“Thank you very much to our community and friends that have shared on social media.”
The social media post goes on to say “all your concerns and support was overwhelming.
“We are so grateful. Thank you.”
A cultivator that was attached to the tractor remains missing.
The owners of Chary Produce, a family-owned farm, were devastated by the theft and reported it on social media.
The farm is based in Brant County and includes fields in Villa Nova, Norfolk County. The tractor and cultivator were taken from a field on Villa Nova Road in Norfolk earlier this week.
The theft has been reported to Norfolk OPP.
The tractor was purchased used two years ago and cost $150,000. The cultivator is worth $200,000.

The farm grows cabbage, cucumbers and strawberries and the stolen equipment is essential to the farm operation, Worley said.
Norfolk OPP is investigating the theft.
