USA, University of Michigan: consumer confidence falls in May

USA University of Michigan consumer confidence stable in April

(Finance) – The index that measures US consumer confidence slips, according to the latest survey conducted by‘University of Michiganwhich published the final estimate.

In May, the index on consumer sentiment it stood at 59.2 points from 57.9 in the preliminary reading and against 63.5 in April.

On the other hand, the component relating to expectationswhich is positioned at 55.4 points from 60.5 and against the expected 53.4, while the one on current condition it was revised to 64.9 points from the preliminary 64.5 points and up from 68.2 in April.
