Elsa Widding, as recently chose to leave the Sweden Democrats and is now a political wild, KU reports the Liberal party leader, as well as the labor market and integration minister, Johan Pehrson and education minister Mats Persson (L). The report concerns their statements about her participation in a conference in Norway.
The report to the Riksdag’s constitutional committee is therefore about Johan Pehrson’s and Mats Persson’s statements regarding her participation in a conference in Norway together with known vaccine opponents, climate deniers and people who relativized the Holocaust.
Widding has previously objected to the description of the conference. In the report, she writes:
“The aforementioned minister has seriously damaged the reputation of the Riksdag and the undersigned’s dignity through untrue and pejorative statements. This has happened by uttering and spreading demonstrably untrue statements”.
TV4 Nyheterna is looking for Johan Pehrson and Mats Persson for a comment.
