The preload for Diablo 4 is scheduled to start on May 31, 2023. This is not revealed by Blizzard itself, but by a screenshot from the PlayStation menu.
What’s new about the preload? The fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Diablo 4 on June 6, 2023. Pre-orders start on June 2 and they can carve up monsters in the dark world.

When will Diablo 4 preload start?
It starts on this date: In a new blog post from Blizzard, the developers are talking about a preload start on May 30 at 4 PM PDT. Corresponding Wednesday May 31 at 01:00 German time.
There is apparently no difference between the early access on June 2nd and the regular access on June 6th. In both cases you can start the pre-download from Wednesday.

How big is the preload? In the official system requirements for Diablo 4, Blizzard speaks of 90 GB of memory required on the PC. The last beta build of Diablo 4 was around 85GB on PC and around 76GB on Xbox and PS5 consoles.
You should also expect at least these sizes for the release. The final sizes are not yet known.
