The Polish people flocked to gas stations to stock up on fuel, worried about Russia’s attacks on neighboring Ukraine. Despite the statements of the authorities that there is no problem in the supply of fuel, the citizens started to stock up in the bins as well as filling their warehouses.
LIMITING FUEL SALES IN POLAND
State-owned oil company PKN Orlen, on the other hand, announced that a limitation was imposed on fuel sales due to the density of fuel stations. In the statement made by the company, it was reported that a fuel filling limit of 50 liters at a time for cars and 500 liters for trucks was introduced. In the statement, which noted that as a result of the developments in the last days, the demand for fuel in the country increased twice as much as normal, it was stated that there were no restrictions on public vehicles.
