The psychologist was sentenced to prison for beating his children.
Today, he works at a psychology clinic where he profiles himself as a specialist in parental support and family-related problems
The man said in court that he thinks it’s okay to hit his children, as long as there are no marks and if you don’t use the attachment.
He told me that he used to pull the children by the ear and slap them in the ass. In other cases, he used silent punishment and stopped talking to the children for two days. He also admitted that on one occasion he had hit the children with a wooden spoon, but strongly denied when it was alleged that he had hit them with cords or a belt or that he had threatened them with a heated knife.
The man said the children had confused reality with fantasy, as the family used to play a game where he chased the children with his belt.
Family related problems
In 2010, the man was sentenced to eight months in prison for gross breach of the peace against his children.
A couple of years after the sentence, the man started working as a psychological assistant and in 2018 he had his education validated by the National Board of Health and Welfare. His previous conviction did not stand in the way.
Today, the man works for a psychologist’s clinic and profiles himself as specializing in parental support and family-related problems.
The man is one of 81 psychologists who have been allowed to keep their license or have been licensed despite being convicted of crimes involving violence, threats and weapons.

arrow Struck neighbor after urine quarrel
A psychologist in western Sweden abused his neighbor in the laundry room so that an ambulance had to be called. It was the culmination of a conflict where, according to the psychologist, the neighbor had placed bags of urine outside his door and cut down trees by his patio.
The psychologist was sentenced in 2020 to 50 hours of community service. The man still lives in the same area, and runs a psychology practice.

A psychologist attacked a woman in the street, when she got annoyed because the woman was so happy. In 2011, she was sentenced to 40 daily fines totaling SEK 2,000 for minor assault. A year later, in 2012, she was convicted again. Now for assaulting a train conductor and chasing him through the train. The punishment for violence, threats and assault against an official was 150 daily fines totaling SEK 7,500.
It appears from judgments from the administrative court that the woman has been incarcerated for long periods of time for compulsory psychiatric care, she has been described as psychotic, hallucinating and lacking insight into the disease. She has been a licensed psychologist since 2002.

A psychologist from Stockholm county has, in his role as a researcher in psychology, spoken out several times about different types of psychological problems and solutions to mental obstacles. On the psychologist’s website, all his titles, educations, awards and positions of trust are lined up.
Drunk on alcohol and pills, he went to his ex-wife’s house and slashed the tires of her car and her bicycle. He also screamed into her apartment through the letterbox. He was sentenced in 2003 to a suspended sentence for molestation, damage and violation of the Knife Act.
The verdict did not lead to any supervision against the man. However, the National Board of Health and Welfare will criticize him ten years later for an inappropriate relationship he had started with a patient. According to the reporting patient, the man allegedly raped her and sexually exploited her. The psychologist denied and when word was against word, the National Board of Health and Welfare closed the case without taking it on to HSAN for examination of the identification.
arrow Threatened to kill girlfriend
A psychologist from Stockholm county was convicted in the 2020s for assault, illegal threats and two cases of illegal driving. He assaulted his girlfriend by grabbing her arm and her hair. When she said a couple of days later that she wanted to break up, she was threatened with death by the psychologist.
In February 2023, the man was sentenced to two months in prison for aggravated drunk driving and threatening an official. That after he, with 2.63 alcohol in his body, crashed his car into a bicycle rack and then threatened the policeman who was supposed to take him into custody.
The man still has his psychologist’s license.
