Forgotten fantasy series returns after 2 years with a big

The wheel of time adapts the best-selling book series* by fantasy author Robert Jordan about a world where only women can wield magic until the prophecy of the “Reborn Dragon”. This chosen one will save or destroy the world. We’ll soon be able to experience this again in Season 2, which now has a start date on Amazon Prime *.

Fantasy epic The Wheel of Time returns to Amazon in 3 months

The 2nd season of The Wheel of Time starts on September 1, 2023. There are again 8 episodes, which will probably be released weekly again. Since The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power won’t be restocked this year, the series fills the Fantasy gap in autumn, previously reserved for the Middle-earth epic. There are also first picture insights into Season 2 of Wheel of Time:

What you need to know to understand the complex fantasy world is a must for some of us 2 years waiting time likely to be refreshed again. What is certain, however, is that at the end of season 1 the “dragon” was revealed, which is not only threatened by the Dark King (Fares Fares), but also by madness. The former group around the sorceress Moiraine (Rosamund Pike) is scattered to the four winds and each individual must find their way into the light or into the dark.

Season 2 of The Wheel of Time starts with an unmissable change

Already after season 1 some changes for season 2 were announced. The biggest of them Replacement of a main character: One of Rand’s (Josha Stradowski) companions and best friends, Mat Cauthon, is now played by Dónal Finn instead of fan favorite Barney Harris. The reasons for this are still unclear today.
