The ninth season of “Married at First Sight” premiered in April, and since then TV viewers have been able to witness the wedding, honeymoon and the new couple’s new life as married cohabitants.
Two of the participants in this year’s edition of the SVT hit are Lina Tomikas37, and Alexander Sjöstrand, 40, who have so far stayed together. This despite a stormy argument that arose in connection with a video greeting to one of Lina’s friends – a conflict that, in the last episode, proved to be resolved with a pillow fight and two party hats.
“It was very liberating and I highly recommend a pillow fight when you need to break up a fight,” Alex writes about the whole thing in a post on Instagram.

During this week’s episode, viewers also got to see Alex’s home in Malmö for the first time, and according to the 40-year-old, his interior has become a real talking point.
“There has been a lot of focus on my apartment both in the previous and this episode. I’m going to crawl to the cross right away and say that interior design is not my thing and it might show,” he writes jokingly on Instagram and continues:
“I still think that my sofas get quite a lot of hate, while now in retrospect I can understand that the curtains don’t look so modern. I can happily please everyone on twitter (where discussions are heated about the curtains) that they have now been replaced. Next project is probably the kitchen or sofas then.”
