Only Murders in the Building returns soon for its season 3, which will still be broadcast on Disney++. And we finally know the release date of the next episodes: the series will return from August 8, 2023 on the streaming platform.
In this season 3, the apprentice detectives of Arconia (embodied by Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short) will have to solve a new murder: that of Oliver’s sworn enemy, who died on stage at the preview of his new theatrical production. This one is embodied by Paul Rudd, as the ends were able to discover at the end of the last episode. Moreover, he is not the only prestigious actor who joins Only Murders in the Building in these new episodes: Disney+ subscribers will also be able to discover Meryl Streep in the casting, in a still mysterious role. Series Only Murders in the building is a Hulu series airing on Disney+ since 2021. It tells the adventures of three neighbors passionate about news stories who will in turn find themselves drawn into an intrigue worthy of a thriller. Proud of the success of the first two seasons and the excellent critical reception, the Hulu channel has renewed the series for a third season, the release of which is expected from August 8, 2023.
The first two seasons feature a prestigious cast made up of Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short in the main roles, but also Tina Fey or Cara Delevingne in recurring roles. The show is also known for its big-name guest stars like Amy Schumer, Sting, and even Mery Streep and Paul Rudd, both of whom will make appearances in Season 3.
Only Murders in the Building is a hit series. Unsurprisingly, it was renewed by Hulu for season 3. Filming was completed in April, for an expected release from August 8, 2023 on Disney+. In this season 3, Mabel, Charles and Oliver will have to investigate the death, on stage, of Oliver’s rival, Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd), as we discovered at the end of season 2. If Only Murders in the Building has accustomed its fans to a five-star cast, season 3 promises to score a big blow, since the cast is expanded by the presence of Meryl Streep.
Mabel, Charles-Haden and Oliver all three live in the same building, the Arconia, without knowing each other. One day, their paths cross and they discover that they share a real passion for news stories. When a friend of Mabel’s is found dead in the building, the three neighbors refute the thesis of suicide put forward by the police. By launching a podcast and conducting the investigation on their side, they hope to unravel the mystery of this death. But no one is a detective, and this thirst for truth will lead them into adventures that are as hilarious as they are dangerous.
