(Finance) – The “Italian Champions Cup”the trophy awarded annually to the winning team of “Serie A TIM” championshipreturns to Naples after 33 years and from Wednesday 24 May will be exhibited for over a week at TIM shop in Piazza dei Martiri.
The trophy – TIM informs in a note – will be available for the first time to fans, citizens and tourists who, in addition to being able to preview it, will have the opportunity to take selfies with the prestigious trophy.
A special 360° camera will broadcast live streaming for 4 hours a day on TIM’s Facebook channel everything that happens around the Cup. The traditional delivery of the cup to the Italian champion club on the field will take place on the occasion of Naples-Sampdoria, last league match attended by Pietro Labriola, CEO of TIM And Lorenzo Casini president of Lega Serie A.
The journey of the Cup from Milan to Naples will be told with special content by Dazn. The Cup will remain in the shop from Wednesday 24 May until it is taken to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium for the award ceremony. Fans will also be able to follow this journey through the TIM Group’s social channels.
The “Italian Champions Cup” was designed in 1960 by the sculptor and medalist Ettore Calvelli, the names of all the teams that have won the top division since the 1960-61 season are engraved on the golden base.
