A wolf has been seen walking around freely in Mölndal’s state environment.
An unusual, but not entirely unlikely sight.
Now the wolf is believed to have left Mölndal.
– It has made its way south now, as far as I understand, says municipal hunter Roy Bladh.
Last Saturday, Carolina from Mölndal got a real surprise when she was on her way home from the grocery store. A wolf was running around freely among the buildings, something like Göteborgs-Posten has previously reported on.
Several who have seen it have reacted to the condition of the wolf. It actually looks a little disheveled. Roy Bladh has spoken to state veterinarian Karin Olofsson-Sannö, who thinks it is sick.
– We think it has scabies. I think it may have Samson’s disease. It’s not healthy if you say that, says Roy Bladh.
Probably left now
According to Roy Bladh, the wolf has caused some concern in the area.
– It is noticeable on some. They ask about their dogs and cats. But there is no one who has their dog loose here as far as I understand.
Now Roy believes that the wolf has moved further south.
– It simply seeks peace and quiet.
