Volotea has announced the opening of lines to Calvi, Palma de Mallorca and Varna, three new seasonal services departing from Lille-Lesquin airport.
[Mis à jour le 25 février 2022 à 12h39] Good news if you want to go to Europe at a lower cost, the Spanish low cost Volotea has announced the opening of three seasonal routes departing from Lille airport in the spring. Plane tickets are already available for booking on the airline’s website.
- From June 4 to October 8, 2022: a flight every Saturday to Calvi-Sainte Catherine, operated by Airbus A319 with 156 seats. Departures are scheduled at 6:00 a.m. (arrival at 7:55 a.m.), with return from Corsica at 8:20 a.m. (arrival at 10:15 a.m.)
- From May 16 to October 3: the low cost will connect Lille to Palma de Mallorca-Son Sant Joan every Monday, with departure at 2.45 p.m. (arrival at 4.55 p.m.) and return from the Balearic Islands at 5.25 p.m. (arrival at 7.50 p.m.)
- From May 17 to October 4: Volotea will serve Varna with a weekly rotation on Tuesdays, flights departing from Lille at 6:00 a.m. (arrival at 10:05 a.m.) and departing from Bulgaria at 10:50 a.m. (arrival at 12:30 p.m.)
If you are traveling with Volotea departing from Bordeaux, go to Hall A. Although Bordeaux airport has the Billi terminal, a terminal dedicated to low-cost airlines (Easyjet and Ryanair have settled there), Volotea prefers the quality of reception and service in Hall A. From Bordeaux, it serves around twenty destinations including Ajaccio, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Madrid, Naples, Palma de Mallorca and even Prague and Split.
Well established in Strasbourg, Volotea Airlines is also the first airline at Strasbourg-Entzheim airport in terms of number of destinations. It serves 13, including 10 in France and Corsica. The other three are Olbia in Sardinia, Palermo in Sicily and Dubrovnik in Croatia.
If you have a Volotea trip departing from Toulouse-Blagnac airport, go to Hall C to check in and/or drop off your luggage. The Spanish low cost flies to 20 destinations including 7 in France. European destinations include Alicante and Las Palmas in Spain, Corfu and Santorini in Greece and Cagliari and Venice in Italy.
If you live in Nantes or its region, know that Volotea offers 32 destinations, including 7 in France, the rest internationally. On its website, Nantes airport recalls the conditions for transporting cabin baggage: two pieces are allowed but their dimensions must not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm for the main hand luggage, and 35 x 20 x 20 cm for the accessory to be placed under the seat. Their total weight should not exceed 10 kg.
For your luggage with Volotea, only one watchword: anticipation! Because the additional costs quickly add up. You can take a free luggage whose dimensions must not exceed 55 cm in height, 40 cm in length and 20 cm in width. You also have the right to bring another accessory such as a handbag. This can measure a maximum of 35 cm in height, 20 cm in length and 20 cm in width. Weigh your hand luggage carefully before going to the airport: in total, their weight must not exceed 10 kg. If they do not respect these rules, they will have to travel in the hold with a supplement of 60 euros per piece.
If you want to take checked baggage, you will have to pay an additional fee ranging from 12 to 58 euros for a purchase on the Volotea site, from 16 to 43 euros by calling the call center, from 28 to 55 euros at the airport. Its weight must not exceed 20 kg, a supplement of 12 euros per kg being applied. To travel with special equipment, allow 60 euros on the web, 80 euros at the airport.
Since Volotea website, you can manage your reservation by adding services (adding luggage, choosing the menu on board, etc.). You can even change your dates, origin and/or destination up to 7 days before flight departure, with associated costs. For example, to change your flight date or your destination, in addition to the possible price difference between the original ticket and the new ticket price, you will have to pay 50 euros.
