[Mis à jour le 21 mai 2023 à 6h45] Franchise fans Fast and Furious can discover the latest film in theaters, or the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw this Sunday evening on TF1. This feature film focuses on the unlikely alliance between the security guard played by Dwayne Johnson and the former soldier played by Jason Statham. While the film is full of explosive action scenes, it’s not immune to a few errors that you (perhaps) noticed while watching.
As rightly pointed out Allociné in his program False fitting, Fast and Furious: Hobbs & Shaw has a noticeable mismatch! During the film, the two protagonists are both tied to chairs to undergo interrogation. They nevertheless manage to free themselves and destroy the two chairs in question by hitting their enemies. A few minutes later, the room explodes. We then see a plan where the room is shattered… with the two chairs perfectly in place and repaired! This is not the only false connection of the film, as the media specializing in cinema news rightly points out, since a waitress disappears between two shots during a scene. Fortunately for fans of the franchise, these errors did not prevent the film from being entitled to a sequel, the release date of which is not yet known.
Synopsis – Hobbs, a security guard in the US diplomatic service, and Shaw, an unscrupulous man and former member of the British military elite, have always clashed. But when the latter’s sister is threatened, they must join forces. The young woman, an MI6 agent, stole a deadly virus from Brixton, a genetically modified anarchist. Together, they will try to escape their enemies and try to put them out of harm’s way. To achieve their ends, Hobbs calls for help, the best of armies, his own family…
