Russia entered Ukraine through the separatist region of Donbas, with Putin’s statement. In addition, the Belarusian government had allowed Russian forces to enter Ukraine through its own borders. As the war continued on the second day, images allegedly belonging to tanks entering Ukraine via Belarus emerged.
Franak Viacorka, Chief Advisor to Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, shared images of Russian tanks and military vehicles going to Ukraine from southwest Belarus.
The footage showed dozens of tanks and military vehicles loaded onto open wagons on the railway.
