Epic sci-fi action with the king of monsters and over 20 (!) hidden creatures

Epic sci fi action with the king of monsters and over

As a monster film with perhaps the most iconic of the genre, many fans were disappointed with the 2014 version of Godzilla. The iconic giant lizard can only be seen for a good eight minutes in the sci-fi fantasy blockbuster. For the sequel Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters, which will be broadcast by ProSieben on Friday at 8:15 p.m., the other path was chosen to compensate. Michael Dougherty’s sequel is crammed with more monsters than you can count at first glance!

Many monsters hide in the sci-fi excess Godzilla II

In the sequel, scientist Emma Russell (Vera Farmiga) is kidnapped by terrorist Jonah Alan (Charles Dance) because she can communicate with the Titans Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah. The villain plans to awaken all the giants and unleash them against humanity.

With this megalomaniacal premise, Godzilla II: King of the Monsters irons out the most controversial issue from its predecessor. The sequel is pure excess, unleashing monster after monster in battle against the titular creature. In total, there are even more than 20 monsters hiding in the sequelsome of which can only be seen for a few seconds.

At the same time, Godzilla II: King of the Monster is already preparing the film that all fans have been waiting for from the very beginning. In 2021 came Godzilla vs. Kong, in which the two most famous monster legends finally collide in an epic duel.
