According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s claim in his latest update, next year’s iPhone 16 Pro models will both feature a periscope lens, while the 15 series will only feature the Pro Max.
In a recent note on the Medium blog, Kuo suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro will be slightly larger than previous Pro models.
According to Kuo, the reason Apple was able to bring the periscope lens to both premium devices for the first time is because of the “larger interior space” provided by the new size.
SCREEN DIMENSIONS ALLEGED TO GROW
Last week, display industry analyst Ross Young claimed that Apple will adopt new screen sizes for both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models.
It was claimed that the iPhone 16 Pro will have a screen size of 6.3 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a screen size of 6.9 inches.
The iPhone 14 Pro currently on the market has a screen size of 6.1 inches, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a screen size of 6.7 inches.
