Sweden beat Finland on penalties and took their third straight victory in the Hockey World Cup.
Then they sent off a really blue-and-yellow mockery to the neighboring country.
Now Finland responds with anger after the Swedes’ invention.
Tre Kronor has had a real tasty start to the hockey WC with three straight victories in the first three games. First Germany, then Austria and on Monday evening the host country and worst rival Finland were also defeated after a real shocker to a penalty shootout.
Swedish mockery
It was also the second straight victory for Sweden against Finland in recent days Loreen took home Eurovision for Sweden, right in front of the Finns’ noses. Tre Kronor has also used this to their advantage and before the WC match, the winning song “Tattoo” was played during the warm-up, because the Swedish players chose it as their wish song.

Young Lucas Raymond became a big match hero with his decisive penalty but he actually doesn’t know whose idea it was to play Loreen’s song in the warm-up.
– It’s a good song and I’m glad it won. But you should ask Rasmus Sandin, he really likes Eurovision and will probably tell you more, says Raymond to the Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat.

But Rasmus Sandin also have no idea whose invention this was.
– I hadn’t actually heard the song before. I have never really followed Eurovision and especially not in North America. But he (Lucas Raymond) is a real fool and a childish guy, he says with a laugh.
