Viktor Norén surprises his best friend Farao in the program The wonderful journey of the Norén brothers – with a newly written song.
The song is based on the Graaf sisters’ song “You got what I want” – and the sisters are also in on the surprise.

In the program The wonderful journey of the Norén brothers the artists and brothers Viktor and Gustaf travel around Sweden to find unknown musical geniuses outside the country and find inspiration to write songs. Everything should result in a disc.
When they are in Stockholm, they meet Viktor’s childhood friend Farao, who was very important to him as a child. When Viktor started playing guitar in his teens, he changed his style – from hip-hop to more aesthetic – and that’s when the bullying started.
The first time they met was when Viktor was pushed against the wall by the bullies, then Farao came through the doors of the school.
– You came in full force and immediately I could stretch, Viktor tells his friend in the program.
They became friends immediately and Farao’s confidence and support became Viktor’s salvation. Therefore, Gustaf and Viktor secretly decide to make a song for him. Farao’s biggest idols as a youngster were Sisters Hannah and Magdalena Graaf and the favorite song was “You got what I want”. Therefore, the brothers will interpret that particular song.
Get the Graaf sisters’ blessing
In the show, they invite sisters Hannah and Magdalena Graaf to their studio to get their blessing. And after they play their rendition of the song, the sisters are completely taken.
– It’s the most beautiful song I’ve heard in my entire life, says Magdalena, and Hannah agrees:
– Wonderfully beautiful. I get goosebumps all over my body. It’s the nicest thing I’ve ever heard, she says and continues:
– It is the world’s finest declaration of love.
Best friend is surprised
The sisters agree to be part of the surprise. Viktor invites Farao to a studio where the brothers are ready with a small orchestra, from Borlänge music school, as well as Magdalena and Hannah. Pharaoh has no idea what lies ahead.
– I have not been this scared in my entire life, he says in the program and admits that he hates surprises.
The shock is total when he enters the room and sees who is there. And when he sees his childhood idols, the Graaf sisters, he waxes lyrical.
– Few people understand how big this is, really!
Can’t hold back the tears
When the Norén brothers sing the newly written song “Du och jag” for Farao, he cannot hold back the tears and is comforted by the Graaf sisters. When the song ends, he is completely speechless at first.
– It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve been a part of in my entire life, he says when he’s recovered.
He says that all his memories with Viktor and their friendship played in his head during the song. The song was felt straight into the heart, he says.
– I wish that all people would be celebrated in this way and receive this overflowing love.
