Bomb threat against school in Gävle – police cordons

The police have cordoned off the area around a high school in Gävle after bomb threats were made on social media.

– Exactly one hour ago, we received that a bomb threat had been made via social media against this school. What we have done is that, for safety’s sake, we have set up roadblocks and are gathering information at the scene, says police spokesperson Pelle Vamstad to TT at 5:10 p.m.

The closures have not affected teaching because they were established after school hours.

– We have no suspects at the moment, no one has been injured, says Vamstad.
