The reason is reduced student numbers and increased costs, which P4 Östergötland was the first to report.
The decision was taken earlier in May. Ingela Karlbom, who chairs the board, says that there will be a gap in the number of students for a few years to come, and it will then no longer be possible to continue running the business.
– We are deeply saddened and sad, but most people understand that we have come to the end of the road and that it is no longer appropriate to continue, says Ingela Karlbom.
The students will stay for the rest of the spring term and after that the municipality offers the children a place at other schools and preschools.
The school, which operates from pre-school to year six, is run as a non-profit association.
